Patient Education Room
Because we feel that an informed patient goes into surgery with more confidence
and realistic expectations, a comfortable sitting room for viewing educational
videotapes and descriptive education pamphlets is provided. Before and
after photographs of patients who have had similar surgery, performed
by Dr. Colgrove, are available for your viewing. |
Consultation
Room
As you learn more about the procedure you're interested in, you are
sure to have some questions. That's why we always have a consultation
room available to allow you to ask any questions or address any concerns
behind the privacy of a closed door. |

Surgical Suite
The center's expert operating room personnel
are specially trained in outpatient surgery and recovery care;
and the surgery unit meets rigorous standards for high-quality
and safety. Additionally, the center provides comfortable recovery
suites, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the time-saving
convenience and privacy hard to find in large, busy hospitals. |
Computer
Video Imaging
Computer video imaging is advanced computer technology that allows
the doctor and patient to better communicate as they are creating
a personal surgical plan.
A high-tech video camera captures a profile and frontal view of the
area to be sculpted. The image is then digitized and recorded in
high resolution color and projected onto a large computer monitor
that looks like a 20" television screen. The computer allows
Dr. Colgrove to manipulate the image until the desired cosmetic changes
are achieved. This is then compared to the patients present features,
allowing patient and doctor to discuss the potential results in advance
of surgery. Various degrees of change can be evaluated and "fine-tuned" before
undergoing surgery. |
