Atlanta has something that appeals to everyone, and offers enough variety to keep the travelers busy. The maximum concentration of exhibits can be found in Pemberton Place, where numerous city attractions are located within two blocks of each other.
World of Coca-Cola (Atlanta is the headquarters of Coca-Cola) tells the history of the world’s most iconic brand, with a wide range of samples to savor. Across the street is the Georgia Aquarium, which is the world’s biggest by volume of water. Here you can swim with the whale shark.
Atlanta is also home to CNN Center, where you can take a Studio Tour to acquire a behind the scenes look at what it takes to run a global news network. Weather
Atlanta experiences wide variation in temperatures through the year. Winters are generally mild to warm, but low temperatures can occasionally plummet into the teens. Ice-storms are rare, but can occur. Summers are hot and humid, with temperatures reaching above 90°F, giving the sobriquet ‘Hotlanta’ to the city.
